Jimtown Tennis

The Boys Tennis Team finished their 2024-25 season at 13-6 and were the winners of the INSC(Indiana Northern States Conference) in which there were the first Conference Champs.  This years team consisted of all varsity players being a part of the All-Conference team or an honorable mention.  Zane Wort was the No. 1 Singles player for the year and fisnished 16 - 3 and was chosen as a member of the All-District team as well Honorable Mention All-State.  Zane also was the No. 1 Singles conference champion and continue into the regional as an individual sectional winner.  He was regional runner-up to Garrett Stoltzfus (Fairfield).  Dalton Cook participated at No. 2 Singles and finished his season at 11-6 and was chosen by the coaches as a member of the All-Conference team.  Carson Gingerich competed at the No. 3 singles spot and was also All-Conference after winning at this position in the conference tournament.

The doubles were manned by No. 1 Doubles team of Chase Clay and Lennart Klages.  They as a team won the conference tournament over Tippecanoe Valley in very close 2 sets.  As many of their matches as teammates this season, they came from behind to become conference champions at No. 1 doubles.  The No. 2 doubles team consisted of Leighton Gingerich and Braydn Warp.  They finished 8 - 7 together and were named Honorable Mention to the All-Conference team.

AJ Allen was a senior who played in numerous matches at the varsity level.  He was a 4 year member of the program.  Others on the team were Colten Allen, Juan Amaya, Theo Genschow, Ethan Creech,, CJ Miller, Gabriel Rodriguez and Alex Secor.  

Lennart and Theo were exchanged students from Germany.  

Congratulations on a very fine season, especially to the seniors who contributed to make this season very enjoyable.
