Welcome to our Hydrosystems Modelling Lab at Bangladesh Agricultural University (BAU), Mymensingh, Bangladesh. This webpage will introduce you with our research domain, lab activities and scopes to get involved with us as potential lab members and collaborators. I am working as a Professor in the Department of Irrigation and Water Management of BAU. My teaching and research domain includes hydrological modelling from field to catchment scales, impact analysis of climate change on water resources and agricultural systems. Our recent works concentrate to mathematical modelling of hydrologic and hydraulic interactions between wetlands, rivers and aquifers. With a number of funded projects we have conducted some important studies (Research ) in deltaic Bangladesh where we identified potentials and challenges of crop cultivation in Bangladeshi haor wetlands and agricultural water management therein.
