Student Schedules

Students will be divided into two cohorts, Cohort A and Cohort B, to accommodate the required physical distancing while in the building and to reduce the number of students to fifteen within each classroom at a given time. The number of students in a classroom depends on the square footage of the classroom, therefore larger classrooms may have more than fifteen students at a given time.

Consideration was given to grouping families from Tukes Valley Middle and Primary within the same cohort unless a family requests otherwise. Tukes Valley Middle students were placed in cohorts based on preliminary placement of Tukes Valley Primary students. To balance out class sizes students without siblings were moved to other classes when necessary. This may result in students with last names not assigned to the A-L / M-Z cohort as described below.

Student Schedule

• Synchronous Learning will take place on Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, and Fridays from 7:55 a.m. to 12:40 p.m. (4 hrs 45 min)

• There will be five periods each day (approx 48 mins. per period)

• Asynchronous Learning will take place on Wednesday for both cohorts, Thursday and Friday for Cohort A, and Monday and Tuesday for Cohort B
