Attendance Expectations
We want to keep your student(s) safe at school!
Attendance will be taken at the beginning of each class. Students who are more than 10 minutes late to class will need to check in at the office.
Students must be checked out from the front office if they will be leaving class early.
Students in my M/T/Th/F classes will have a short recess during Block 2 and Block 4. If your student is not enrolled in my class during those blocks, they will need to be acompanied by a parent/guardian if they wish to participate.

Volunteer at least once a month.
Sign in and record your hours.
Engage with students. Join us at the carpet and at tables!
Ask questions, instead of supplying answers.
Use subject vocabulary.
Limit cell phone use.
You are welcome to bring your student's younger siblings with you! I ask that you and your children help maintain a safe and comfortable classroom environment conducive to learning. Your younger children will often be invited to participate in the class activities, though this may not always be possible. It is always a good idea to come prepared with a few things for your younger children to do, just in case.
