Meet the Teacher

Hello! My name is Miss De Boom and this is my second year teaching at Maple Grove and my third year of teaching special education. Before moving to Battle Ground, I lived in Spokane, WA where I attended Whitworth University and taught in Deer Park School District. At Whitworth, I received my bachelor's degree in elementary education and earned my master's degree in special education. In Deer Park, I taught special education in a self-contained setting. I love to help each of my students achieve his/her personal best.

In my free time I enjoy traveling, watching football (Go Patriots!), riding horses, reading the Harry Potter series, and spending time with my family and friends.
