Students in my 5th grade ELA and History classes will only have assigned homework on Tuesday. Occasionally an assignment might be given for something special and I will place it on the list below. The most recent assignments will be on the top with older assignments below.
Tuesday, September 2: Students should complete Handout 1B: Family and Culture Web. After completing the web, students should put a star by one aspect that they would like highlight and write a short paragraph describing that aspect in more detail. This paragraph could include a short story, examples, historical significance and emotions.
