About me: I have been teaching here at Daybreak for 12 years now. I originally started as the Math Intervention Specialist serving grades 5-8 until the District decided to dissolve the program. I also started up our FLL robotics team back in 2014. Several years ago we moved up to FTC which meant BIGGER robots!!
I started teaching back in 1997 in a little tiny town in New Mexico called Hatch. I moved to The Phoenix area and taught there for 7 years before becoming a stay-at-home mom to my two amazing children. When I went back to work, I worked for a year training teachers how to use interactive whiteboards in Washington, Oregon and Alaska. It was a lot of fun, but I missed my classroom, so here I am.
I love math, and I love technology. You will find many useful tools on my website so feel free to explore.
