My Artist Statement: Drawing and painting gives me great joy. I have been creating art since I was a very young child. I love teaching young children and sharing with them my passion for art.

What I Teach: I follow the Washington State Learning Standards for visual arts, adopted in 2017. I strongly emphasize learning about the elements of art and the principles of design. I help students attain various skills and techniques while working with a variety of mediums. I also enjoy teaching students about the Old Masters as well as contemporary artists.
