What's Due This Week?

For 5th-8th Grade:

Daily Assignment... We will start our basketball unit next. 6th grade-8th grade will have the opportunity to sign up for a weight lifting unit which also includes nutritional education.  We will continue to provide mid term fitness assessments for all grade levels. We are still collecting student data from pre, mid and post testing to document student growth and improvements in flexibility, muscular strength and endurance.

What Was Due Last Week?

For 5th-8th Grade:

Past Assignments... You can email Mr. K for submitting late assignments or needing any additional assistance with make up work assignments. Make up work handouts are available for students in our PE hallways. We have worked on finishing our SMART goals in our fitness journals, recognizing if we are in our age and gender fitness zones. We completed our volleyball unit with tournament brackets and took pictures for student yearbooks. 

6th grade-8th grade had the opportunity to sign up for a weight lifting unit with nutritional education. We completed our Health Lessons for the semester with graded written work and Google Classroom exit tickets.

Additionally, 5th Grade Human Growth and Development curriculum will be taught when dates are determined.

           After School Activities

In addition to our after school sports, Taekwondo is available from 5:00-7:00 on Tuesdays and Thursdays throughout the school year at Laurin.
