What Was Due Last Week? May 23 - 27, 2022:
For 5th Grade Art:
Complete: Hamburger Notes/rough draft practice on back of Art Process page.
Create: An original large drawing/painting of a loaded Hamburger. Sketch both buns, meat, cheese, lettuce, tomato, onions, pickles, sauces etc. Next, decide preferred medium: colored pencil, markers, watercolor od drawing pencil. Render in the medium of your choice. Show detail and 3-D Qualities.
Turn in: Front of Room # 14 by Friday, May 27th.
For 6th Grade Art:
Complete: Jellyfish Notes/rough draft practice on back of Art Process page.
Create: An original Jellyfish Resist composition with watercolor and wax. Draw 1 - 3 Jellyfish in wax on watercolor paper. Paint the Jellyfish with warm watercolors. Paint the negative space (water) with cool colors. Add Rock Salt and Table salt to create the illusion of bubbles. Mat on black construction paper.
Turn in: Front of Room # 14 by Friday May 27th
For 7th Grade Art:
Complete: Gemstone notes/rough draft practice) on back of Art Process page.
Create: A 3-D collaged artwork made from organic shapes and lines. Use watercolor pencils to create 3 organic shapes with hilights. Choose any colors you like. Surround each organic shape with 3 different lines made from .01 Micron Archival pens. cut out the gems, overlap them on black and white paper. Use a blender to shade one side. Mat with unity on colored paper of your choice, then black paper.
Turn in: Front of Room # 14 by Friday May 27th.
For 8th Grade Art:
Compete: Textured Coil/color scheme notes/rough draft practice on back of Art Process page.
Create: Design an original textured coil with ink and watercolor pencils. Show movement with visual texture, parallel lines, and color value. Mat with unity on colored paper.
Turn in: Front of Room # 14 Friday May 27th.
