Graduation Timeline Dates
April 28th- Cap and Gown pickup at the 6:30 meeting
May 19th- Teacher Appreciation Dinner 5pm in the small gym
May 26th- Last graduation meeting 6:30pm in the Commons.
June 2nd- Baccalaureate Service @ Evergreen Bible on Mill Plain 6:30
June 3rd -Graduation rehearsal. Meet Mr. Kesler at CAM covered area 8:15 am. Senior Breakfast immediately following rehearsal in the RHL small gym. ALL seniors should be there!
June 3rd-Seniors line up at 6pm at CAM covered area and then walk over to the stadium at 7pm with advisors.
June 3rd- Graduation Ceremony 7pm No tickets required.

The next graduation meeting will be held on Tuesday, April 28th @ 6:30pm in the Commons. Jostens will deliver orders. Committees will meet and plan.

The RHL PTO would like a senior parent or senior to attend their monthly meetings on Wednesdays at 9:30am.
3/31/26 Meeting Notes
Committees met.
Baccaulaureate Committee: They will create an RSVP google form to be sent out to seniors, parents and staff. June 2, 2026 at Evergreen Bible Church.
Teacher Appreciation Dinner Committee: This fun events will be on Tuesday, May 19th time TBA in the small gym. The theme is "Hawaiian". Parents and seniors will sign up to bring food items to share. Seniors will be invited to share favorite memories of their teachers. Look for a sign up form soon.
Graduation Reception Committee: This committee did not meet this time. Mrs. Richardson will email the BGHS ROTC to line up for the graduation ceremony.
Senior Breakfast Committee: The food items have been assigned and they are putting together a program. There will be a photo booth and the yearbook slideshow will be shown. Here is the link to fill out the yearbook survey and send in the baby and senior picture:

Senior Gifts and Fundraising: There is a Burgerville fundraiser on Wed. April 15th. Here is the sign up genius form to sign up to hold signs. Parents are required to attend with their senior.

The next graduation meeting will be Tuesday, April 28th at 6:30 in the Commons. Jostens will be there to hand out cap and gown/announcement orders. Committees will meet.

2/24/26 Meeting Notes
Committees met. A new committee has been formed. See below.
The Teacher Appreciation Dinner.(NEW) This committee plans the dinner to be held on May 19th in the small gym.
Baccalaureate committee shared it will cover the costs and it will be located at Evergreen Bible Church on Mill Plain in Vancouver at 6:30pm on Tuesday, June 2nd.
Graduation Reception Committee shared they will share treat bags and water bottles and maybe have baby photos attached to the back of the senior's chairs at the stadium. Their budget is approx. $500.
Senior Breakfast Committee shared they are donated all the food.
Senior Gifts and Fundraising Committee shared they are buying hoodies for all of the graduating seniors plus other gifts.
The next graduation planning meeting will be on Tuesday, March 31st at 6:30 in the Commons.

11/18/25 Meeting Notes

Baccalaureate committee narrowed down locations.
Graduation Reception Committee added a Teacher Appreciation dinner to their list. Details TBA in early 2026.
Senior Breakfast planned their menu and gift ideas were discussed.
Fundraising /Gifts Committee may add a Crumbl Cookie fundraiser.
Teacher Appreciation Dinner (new) will put on a dinner/program to thank their teachers. It is planned for May 19th in the small gym.

9/30/25 Meeting Notes
Committees were formed. If you could not attend, please plan on attending the next meeting on 11/18.
Jostens handed out ordering packets. Orders are due at the next meeting on 11/18. You may also order online at: https://www.jostens.com/apps/store/customer/1465197/River-HomeLink-High-School/
On the website- Click on "Graduation">"Shop All Graduation Products">"Cap and Gown". The basic unit is $59. You may also order a 2nd tassel and other products.

Three graduation announcements were chosen by those in attendance and the three choices will be voted on my the entire senior class in a google survey form in the near future.

At River Homelink, the senior parents plan the graduation events! ALL seniors and their parents are invited to attend the graduation meetings. Here are the Tuesday evening meeting dates. They will be held in the Commons from 6:30-7:30pm.
March 31
April 28 - Cap and Gowns arrive at the meeting. Balances will be due that night.
May 26
The committees are : Fundraising & Gifts, Baccalaureate, Graduation Reception, Senior Breakfast and Teacher Appreciation Dinner. Plan to join a committee at the next graduation meeting.
