Dr. Mendy Loewenthal is certified by the Canadian College of Family Physicians with a specialist designation in Care of the Elderly.
Dr. Loewenthal graduated from Carleton University with a Bachelor's of Science, and then attended the University of Toronto for medical school training. He then completed postgraduate training in Family Medicine at Queen's University and a fellowship in Care of the Elderly at McMaster University.
He is a faculty member in the Department of Family and Community Medicine at North York General Hospital and is involved in clinical teaching of medical students and residents.
His clinic is a general family practice including care of babies, children, adolescents, adults, Care of the Elderly and Palliative Care. Dr. Loewenthal attends to complex and or frail homebound patients. Dr. Loewenthal also practices Emergency Medicine.
