Dear Colleague,

You are kindly invited to participate to the 1st international workshop on Dynamic Response of Composite Materials. The objective of the workshop is to present your work to the international composites community, to bring together composites scientists, engineers and technologists to exchange ideas, and discuss the latest developments in dynamic response of composite materials and structures.

This is an abstract only event. No full paper needs to be submitted.

IMPORTANT DATES

Deadline for Abstract: 31 July, 2017

Notification of acceptance: 15 August, 2017

Prospective authors are invited to submit abstracts on the following topics, but not limited to:

• Mechanics of composites • Nano composites • Applications of composites • Metal-matrix composites

• NDE and Structural Health Monitoring • Composite manufacturing • Damage, Fatigue and Fracture •Multi-scale Modelling

• Smart materials & structures • Green/Bio Composites • Impact and dynamic response • Hybrid composites

• Repair and self-healing • Textile Composites

Abstracts should be sent to iwdrc@bath.ac.uk in PDF or Word format. Receipt of abstract submission and acceptance will be confirmed by e-mail.

The workshop fees are 250€ payable on-site or via PayPal. This includes lunches, coffees and one dinner on 27th evening.
