Ryan joined the Department of Physics and Astronomy at Bates in January 2024. Before Bates, he completed his Ph.D. in mechanical engineering at the University of Colorado Boulder and spent two years as a NRC Postdoctoral Researcher at the National Institute of Standards and Technology in Boulder, Colorado.
