BSA PROCESS

1. Complete the Coach Registration process which includes:

    • Applying for, and submitting, a national police certificate which satisfies the requirements of a criminal history assessment
    • Completing the "Play by the Rules" online training course
    • Acknowledging the Australian Sports Commission's Coach's Code of Ethics and BSA Code of Conduct
    • Uploading head shot and updating contact information on your Sports TG profile

2. Advise club profile has been updated

1. Ensure appointed coaches have registered in SportsTG for the current season with the following information:

      • Full Name
      • Gender
      • Date of Birth
      • Address
      • Contact Information
      • Accreditation Level
      • Police Check &/or DCSI reference #

2. Ensure coaches' profiles are updated:

  • Prior to first game; or
  • when a new coach is appointed during the season

3. Sign off on Child Safe Compliance Statement

1. Verify the completed registration processes


2. Provide coaches with access to verification resource



MEMBER EDUCATION PROJECT PLANNING: INDIVIDUAL REGISTRATIONS

PHASE I – Internal Staff Comms (May to June ‘17)

  • June 13th after staff meeting JC spends 30 minutes with Stadium Managers to overview current capabilities and demonstrate needed competency to ensure CSOs & social team contacts can execute:
    • Individual registrations with email sign on
    • Real-time support for CSOs & team contacts
  • June 19th Commission meeting to further their knowledge of the database management’s link to the bottom line and other operational efficiencies
  • Follow up discussion between MH & JC to confirm Commission buy-in and proceed actioning member communication plan


PHASE II – TG Platform Rollout (Jul ’17 to Apr ’18)

  • July = BA video training with BNSW for SAC/BSA/club rep super-user
  • August = sandbox testing with delivery/feedback loop from State to National
  • August = Association-focused systems training in Melbourne (video conference)
  • September = BA workshop in Adelaide for TG Platform systems training
  • Oct – Dec = Data Verification in preparation for Jan/Feb launch
  • (BSA venues in line with National Registration processes by Summer 17/18 social seasons)
  • Winter season 2018 Membership Registration on TG Platform live in SA (April)


PHASE III – TG Platform Live (by Dec 2018)

  • Staged rollout from Membership Registration to Competitions and Referee Mgmt on TG Platform
  • Affiliation Agreements delivered and received encompassing self-registering in line with BA guidelines, split payments and other affiliation criteria (Stage 1 of 3 – Affiliation Framework)
