Music Class with Mrs. Woras
Music Class with Mrs. Woras
The ultimate goal in music class is to learn skills, master tools, and take your music knowledge with you when you go home, when you graduate, and on into adulthood. If you are playing guitar around the campfire at 50 with the knowledge you learned in music class - that is a win! Cultivating lifelong musicians in our awesome middle/high school.

About Mrs. Woras
I am an Idaho City alum - in fact, I attended school here from daycare/preschool all the way through to 12th grade graduation. I spent most of my time in the music room, learning, helping Mr. Barnes teach, and just having fun. Idaho City is an incredibly special place - way different (better) than the city. I am SO excited to be here and am looking forward to an amazing year!

Mrs. Woras' Late Policy
Mrs. Woras' late policy is as follows:
Classwork and assignments are to be submitted by the end of the class period. Mrs. Woras does not typically assign homework and allows for in-class time to complete any assignments or projects. For Guitar & Piano students, Choice Board assignments will not be accepted after 1 week. Any adjustments to this policy will only be allowed at the discretion of Mrs. Woras or the IEP/504 team if applicable.
Mrs. Woras' Performance Policy
Mrs. Woras' performance policy is as follows:
If you are in Guitar, Piano, Choir, or Band (HS only), students are required to perform in a concert setting for a large percentage of their grade. Students in Guitar & Piano must perform every two weeks for their peers for a grade in preparation for a more public performance. If for any reason the student is not able to perform, they must consult Mrs. Woras for an alternative assignment. If a student does not want to perform, they should opt for a class that does not require performance, like A/V.
