Mrs. Eberts

School Counselor K-2

This will be my third full year at Spring Garden Elementary. Before I became a school counselor, I worked in behavioral health services; working one on one with children with different disabilities and social emotional challenges. I graduated from Temple University with my BA in Psychology and minor in Cognitive Neuroscience and Lehigh University with a M.Ed. in School Counseling.

I love teaching counseling lessons, running groups, and meeting with students one-on-one. I’m here to advocate for your students and to help them no matter where they are on their social emotional journey.

Mrs. Hilbert

School Counselor 3-5

This will be my second year at Spring Garden Elementary. Before I became a school counselor, I worked as a special education instructional assistant and as therapeutic support staff. In both fields, I supported students with academic, social, and emotional challenges.  I graduated from Penn State with my  BA in  Psychology and minor  in  Criminal  Justice and  West Chester University with a M.Ed. in School Counseling.

I love running groups specialized to meet the needs of my students, as well teaching classroom counseling lessons and meeting with students individually. It is my role as a counselor to support the academic, social, and emotional needs of students.

What does a school counselor do?
