In order to access any of the services below, students must go through the SAP/MTSS process. See a counselor or any staff member to complete a referral.
TIER 2 SUPPORTS
PEACE ROOM: The LHS Peace Room is a place for students to self-regulate by implementing positive coping skills (ie. drawing, painting, meditating, etc.).

MORAVIAN OT: Moravian OT is a program run by Moravian University Occupational Therapy Graduate Students. The program offers support with topics such as coping skill implementation to manage emotions, interacting with peers and handling conflict, building relationships and accessing support, managing social/emotional needs, etc.

COMMUNITIES IN SCHOOLS: Communities in Schools is a check-in program with students who have academic, attendance and/or behavioral concerns. Support focuses on goal setting and monitoring.

ST. LUKE'S/TEMPLE MENTORING PROGRAM: Temple University and St Lukes are providing Liberty High School students the opportunity to work with their medical students in a mentor program. This program will allow students to meet with their mentor twice during the month of May. The mentors will help students with many things including time management, decision making and preparation for finals.

CENTER OF HUMANISTIC CHANGE - CHC MENTORING: Project Success is a one on one check-in program with students, which address topics such as life skills, social skills and self-esteem.

VALLEY YOUTH HOUSE - COPE: COPE is a 9-week program that focuses on students who are struggling with anxiety and need help establishing coping skills.

VALLEY YOUTH HOUSE - ONE LOVE FOUNDATION: The One Love Foundation is an evidence based group that provides learning tools that focus on giving youth guidelines and resources to learn about relationships, determine if they are cultivating healthy relationships, and how to have conversations with others about boundaries.

VALLEY YOUTH HOUSE - CONFLICT RESOLUTION FOR TEENAGERS: This curriculum is designed to help you teach teenagers how to solve problems without fighting, becoming aggressive, or escalating them. Students examine explosive scenarios and practice how to resolve them peacefully and maturely.

MARS: MARS has established two ESL/ELL Support Groups at Liberty. These groups address things such as coping with change at home/in the community, adjusting to new surroundings and/or learning a new language, teaching each student to advocate for themselves in ways that are appropriate, etc.

TURNING POINT: Turning Point will establish individual counseling for students who have trauma and are exhibiting behaviors related to sexual assault, domestic violence, etc.

TURNING POINT SPACES: SPACES is a 12 week empowerment group that fosters a safe space for male students. The group topics will be centered around fostering healthy relationships & boundaries and conflict resolution.

GIRLS CONFLICT GROUP: Guidance Counselors will be running a Girls Conflict Group at Liberty. The purpose of the 4-week social group is to empower young women to support each other and learn appropriate conflict resolution skills. Four 45-minute sessions will be held to give students immediate strategies to navigate peer relationships. Sessions will focus on coping skills and replacement strategies.

SELF AWARNESS & MANAGEMENT GROUP: Liberty’s SEL Behavior Coach will be running a group that touches on topics such as self-awareness, self-management, social awareness, relationship skills and responsible decision making. The goal of the group is for students to understand more about themselves and utilize coping strategies to manage their emotions and feelings.

CRIMES VICTIMS COUNCIL - 9TH & 10TH GRADE PROGRAMMING: Crimes Victims council connects with all 9th and 10th students through the health department. A facilitator from CVC does presentations on Stress, Trauma and Healing with the 9th grade. They do presentations about Healthy vs. Unhealthy Relationships & Warning Signs, Sexual Harassment and Sexual Assault with the 10th grade.

TIER 3 SUPPORTS
PINEBROOK: Pinebrook therapists provided their students with individual therapy. Pinebrook currently services students who are either underinsured or uninsured.

LVHN Tele-therapy: Provides students with virtual therapy services. LVHN works with students who currently have insurance.

LVHN Therapy: LVHN provides students with services such as individual therapy and/or medication management.

MEDICAL SERVICES
St Luke's Medical Van: Students who have no insurance or PCP and the Medical Van Connects families with insurance

Star Wellness Dental Van:

Vision to Learn Van: Vision Screening: Working with the school, each student is vision screened.
Eye Exam: Students who do not pass (or have vision concerns) are examined by an optometrist on the mobile clinic. Students who currently have glasses and return their valid prescription can get a back-up pair of glasses for no cost. There are no insurance requirements or restrictions to be seen on the van. Everyone is welcome!
Glasses: If needed, students select their frames from a wide choice of sizes and styles. A Vision To Learn Optician delivers the glasses, and lost or broken glasses are replaced for free for one year.

Vaccine for Children: Program provides vaccines to children who do not have health insurance. Children who are insured but whose insurance does not cover immunizations are also eligible to receive federally funded vaccines at public sites, including LHS including Federally Qualified Health Centers and Rural Health Clinics.
