In 2024, a core group of caregivers of students with special needs worked with special education administrators to form PASE, a family support group that will work to strengthen trust, partnership, and advocacy between families and the Bellefonte Area School District for the benefit of students receiving special education services.   

We are a group of parents and caregivers of students with special needs in the Bellefonte Area School District who came together to develop a community of trust and support within our school district. We want to support each other through the sometimes confusing and stressful journey of special education.
