Reading at Home

At home reading is an important way for you to support your child's progress. I will send home copies of books that we have read in class, and sight words that we are working on.

I encourage you to allow your child to choose their own books, and record any at home reading on their monthly reading log. Students can read independently, read with you, or be read to. All of these create positive reading experiences and provide valuable practice.
