WisCo is open to all students in the Burlington Area School District as well as non-resident students applying through the Wisconsin Inter-District Open Enrollment process. Non-residents of BASD can apply through Public School Open Enrollment at https://dpi.wi.gov/open-enrollment from February 6-April 28 and will be granted enrollment pending available space. All non-resident applicants will receive an acceptance or denial of enrollment prior to June 9th.
Non-residents may also apply after July 1st for Alternative Open Enrollment at https://dpi.wi.gov/open-enrollment/applications/alternative but may be limited to available space. Please complete one application for each child individually. All non-residents who completed an Alternative Open Enrollment Application will receive confirmation of acceptance or denial of enrollment prior to the start of school.

Steps for Enrollment for Non Resident Students/Families
Fill in the Open Enrollment Application through the Wisconsin Department of Public Instruction website.
Complete that WisCo application for admission.
Both of these applications must be submitted for your application to be reviewed.
Communication will be sent with your official acceptance or denial of admission.
Steps for Enrollment for BASD Resident Students/Families
Complete the WisCo application for admission.
Your application, transcript, attendance will be reviewed.
Meet with the WisCo Program Coordinator to discuss program and needs.
Communication will be sent with your official acceptance or denial of admission.
Once accepted to WisCo the student will need to be enrolled and registered into the Burlington Area School District. Directions for how to do this will be provided.
