Social - Emotional Curriculum

Social and emotional learning (SEL) is the process through which learners acquire and effectively apply the knowledge, attitudes, and skills necessary to understand and manage emotions, set and achieve positive goals, feel and show empathy for others, establish and maintain positive relationships, and make responsible decisions.

Oliver Middle School counselors utilize evidence based curriculum provided by Broken Arrow Public Schools to meet the social/emotional needs of our students through Advisory. These programs may be utilized individually with students on an as needed basis.
