7th Grade Bucky's Classroom Experience (pilot program 2019-2020)

The Bucky’s Classroom visit program, offered only in Wisconsin, pairs UW student ambassadors with 7th grade classrooms around the state. The ambassadors visit schools to lead three separate, hour long lessons on pre-college preparedness, college access, and career exploration.

8th Grade Technical College Field Trip

All 8th grade students attend a Career Day in the Spring. Students are able to choose three careers or areas of interest that they would like to learn more about. Students travel around the Northwood Tech Campus to get from session to session.

7th - 12th Grade Job Shadow

Job Shadows can be coordinated through the Barron Area School District Mentorship Program.

11th Grade College Visits

All 11th grade students will go on a college visit.
