About

The Barrington 220 District Technology Committee (DTC) is comprised of approximately 40 members with representatives from the following areas:

  • All Buildings

  • Teachers of grade levels (PK–12)

  • Teacher Librarians

  • iDAL Coaches

  • Teachers of student services (K–5; 6–12)

  • Teachers of special programs

  • Principals/Assistant Principals/District Administrators

DTC members work collaboratively to represent views of stakeholders across the district and communicate back to their buildings and/or departments.

The DTC addresses instructional technology needs of the district, including, but not limited to:

  • Learning and teaching devices

  • Learning and teaching apps and systems

  • Technology-related professional learning

  • Future technology system testing, piloting, and input for devices, apps, and systems

  • Communication to district stakeholders
