Meet the Teacher

Mrs. Hubbard

Hello, and welcome to third grade! I am so excited to meet each of you- whether it is in person or virtually. I know our situation is a little different this year, but we are going to make the best of it. I have lots of wonderful things planned for us!

A little about me- I graduated from Barren County in 2014. I am an alumna of Western Kentucky University, and I am currently working on my Master's in Teaching. My husband and I have been married for a year now, but we actually met in kindergarten! In our spare time, we like to travel, be outdoors, and work on DIY projects.

A few of my favorite things- I love the color blue, anything sweet, country music and READING! I couldn't begin to list my favorite books because there are so many.

If you need anything at all this year, please do not hesitate to reach out! I am here to help and happy to do so.

Meet the Teacher

Mr. Jackson

Hey! My name is Ben Jackson and I am very excited to work with your child this year. I will be in charge of teaching math and science and helping to facilitate reading and social studies.

This is my 17th year of teaching and I have spent each of those years at Park City! Before starting my teaching career, I was a student at Park City for 6th, 7th and 8th grades and a substitute teacher. During my 17 years, I have taught 3rd, 4th and 5th grades. I am a graduate of Barren County High School (class of 1998) and Western Kentucky University (class of 2004). I received a Rank II certificate by completing the Continuing Education Option.

I have been married for 12 years and have 1 child. We live in Barren County and enjoy traveling when we have an opportunity. I really enjoy grilling and barbecuing.

I look forward to getting to know your child! We are going to have a great school year.
