What is the Beta Club?
Beta Club is an academic and service-oriented club. In addition to being strong students, Betas are also encouraged to give back to their community through a number of services projects planned throughout the year. Beta Club also provides an opportunity for members to earn recognition at local, state, and national conventions.

Who can join?
The club is open to all BCHS students grades 10-12 with a cumulative 3.0 grade point average as well as all 9th grade students.
How much does it cost to join the Beta Club?
Annual membership dues are $35.
How to earn Pin Status:
Pin status is awarded to senior Beta members who have maintained active participation in the BCHS Beta Club throughout their high school career. Pin Status Betas will be recognized at their graduation.
To qualify, Betas must meet or exceed the following requirements:
Maintain a GPA of 3.0 or higher
Attend 1 convention per year
Complete 80+ hours of volunteer service*
*Service Hours will be awarded ONLY upon submission of Volunteer Service Form (see link below). All hours must be submitted by May 1 to be considered for Pin Status.
*Credit for charitable donations (including both goods and monetary gifts) will be determined based on type and quantity.
