Do you have an 'almost finished' memoir collecting dust on your shelf? In a file in your computer? Hand-written pages?
Here at Rambling Roots Publishing, self-published author, editor & designer Aly Coy helps you publish your manuscript and get it out in the world!
We'll meet virtually or in person and discuss the project you're working on, publishing goals, and budget.
Once we have a schedule and monthly budget in place the work begins! From typing up your handwritten pages, feedback on your work, and getting your manuscript into an organized file.
We will decide together a style-guide for editing and formatting.
Once you're happy with the manuscript I'll format it into an e-book & physical book. You get to choose the design you want, have final looks and a pre-sale copy sent to you before order.
Help with pre sale copies, booking book launch venue, final edits/changes to file from pre sale copy, upload and order set of books plus set up for promotion and website (optional).
Please get in touch if you have other questions not listed below

Yes I do.
A series of questions that dictate how the editing will be. For example either American English, UK, or Canadian.
Yes, I can build you a simple, free website (just like this one) with Google Sites.
Yes, I will look for grammatical errors and typos. That being said, I will contract out a final look over if needed.
I use KDP (Kindle Direct Publishing) through Amazon. You have the option to sell it through Amazon as an e-book or physical book or keep it just for friends and family with physical copies.
I format and upload your manuscript and the service prints as many or as few copies as you like. I usually aim for 100 copies up front for the book launch and pre sale copies.
