Kentucky’s centralized location and highly developed infrastructure make it a prime location for transportation and logistics companies who are looking to move their freight by ground, air, water or rail. Louisville is home to the UPS Worldport air hub, which is the largest package handling facility in the world. The aviation industry in the state and nationwide will have a significant shortage of pilots in the coming years for passenger and cargo flights. Additionally, the industry is expected to expand nearly 30% in the next 10 years!

Students who are mechanically inclined and seek hands-on learning can benefit from our automotive or engineering pathways in this concentration. Students who are interested in flight training for commercial or general aviation can take advantage of the Bluegrass Aerospace Experience. Have a talk with our school counselors if you think Path2Pro Transportation and Logistics is the concentration for you!
