I'm excited to start the new school year! This will be my 23rd year with Bardstown City Schools. I began my career teaching both third and fourth grades at BES, then taught third grade for many years. Last year, I started started a new and exciting chapter as our school's reading interventionist. I have always had a passion for reading, and enjoy helping students strengthen the reading skills they need for academic success. My husband, Ricky and I and I have been married for 27 years and we have a son, Landon (21), and a daughter, Baylee (17). Landon is a singer and lead guitarist in Nashville, and Baylee, a senior in high school, is learning Korean as she is planning to study in South Korea next year. I'm very proud of my kids! Our family also has two adorable fur babies, Sammy and Winnee. I love spending time with my family! I'm an avid U of L fan, and love going to the beach when I get a chance. I look forward to learning about your child's interests as well!
