The conference will be held at Bard College in Annandale-on-Hudson, New York (Google map). The Bard campus is a small liberal arts institution with a storied musical history (including the Bard Summerscape opera program and the John Cage Trust). The school is located in the Hudson Valley, a rural setting approximately two hours north of New York City.

From New York City airports
NYC area airports: JFK, La Guardia, or Newark airport

From Albany airport
Fly to Albany International Airport.
The trip from Albany airport to Bard is about one hour by car.
Housing
Housing will be available in campus dorms, which will be easily walkable to the conference. The college will have dining, cafe, and other services available.
The summer rate for dorms on campus:
$94.50 per night with a one-time $30 linens fee.
Additional hotels are available off-campus in larger neighboring towns of Rhinebeck and Kingston, NY (each 10-15 minutes to campus by car). These locations will require the participant to have a car to arrive to campus.
Unaffiliated housing suggestions:
Rhinebeck: Beekman Arms, located in the center of the village of Rhinebeck. Beekarm Arms is the oldest inn in America.
Kingston: Kingston has most brands of corporate hotels available. Many of them are located near the 9W/209 intersection, across the Kingston-Rhinecliff bridge from the Bard campus (~15 minutes by car).
Amenities Off-Campus
The closest towns to the Bard campus are Red Hook, Rhinebeck, and Kingston. Red Hook is 5 minutes to campus by car. Rhinebeck and Kingston are each about 15 minutes by car to the campus. Each of these towns have pharmacy, grocery, walkable downtowns, and restaurants/cafes. The nearest urgent care and hospital is located in Rhinebeck.
