You will receive an email from ESRI that prompts you to access your account by creating a new password. This will take you to our ESRI ArcGIS homepage bard.maps.arcgis.com. From this page you can access ArcGIS Online tools to:
Create an interactive web map in Map Viewer. You can also conduct many basic GIS and spatial analysis operations in Map Viewer
Create a StoryMap webpage to communicate results of your GIS research
Create interactive map applications using the App Library
Download ArcGIS Pro onto your personal computer (only Windows machines)
Locate the ArcGIS Pro application in Windows using the search bar in the bottom left of the desktop.
After ArcGIS Pro loads for the first time --> expand the ArcGIS login option and type in your ArcGIS user name and password.
Notes:
Someone might already be signed in to ArcGIS Pro on your computer. Sign out and and sign in to your account using the button in the upper right corner of the application. Please sign out of ArcGIS Pro at the end of each session in the lab.
You might need to select your ArcGIS Organization: bard.maps.arcgis.com
ArcGIS Pro requires a Windows machine. Those without a Windows machine can also pay for access to cloud computing space using Parallels or similar software ($99/year).
