About Me:

I am Mrs. Elaine Schnell. I teach 1st Grade at Barberton Elementary School West. I received my Bachelor’s Degree in Early Childhood Education from Ashland University in 2003. I also have a Master’s Degree from Malone University in Reading. While this is my 14th year teaching, it is only my 4th year working in Barberton City Schools. I consider myself very lucky to be in such an amazing district. I have taught all grades from Kindergarten to 3rd, but am loving my time in 1st grade this year!
