Seniors’ Last Day

Class of 2026

Seniors’ Last Day will be May 8 if the senior has met the following criteria:

1. On track to graduate

a. Passing all classes

b. Does not need courses in Credit Recovery/APEX

2. Senior hours have been completed and turned in by April 15th. 

3. No discipline issues: No OSS during their senior year.

4. Cannot have 10 days of unexcused absences second semester.

5. Have passing scores on the Ohio Algebra I and ELA II End of Year Exams. OR Have the alternative path solidly in place. ****2 Seals needed with either pathway****

Seniors' last day for those who do not meet the above criteria will be May 22. Seniors who will need to complete courses in Credit Recovery/APEX or who are failing a course second semester will use the weeks of May 11-15 and May 18-22 to finish academic requirements.

MANDATORY COMMENCEMENT REHEARSAL

Rehearsal for commencement will be held at Barberton High School on Thursday, May 21 at 8:00 a.m.  It will last approximately two hours.  Attendance is MANDATORY. The rest of that day may be used to make certain any outstanding obligations are taken care of. 

** IMPORTANT NOTE**

Each senior is to be in his/her seat in the commons by 7:45 A.M. An assigned seat will be given to you as you enter the commons. The rehearsal will include specific instructions for commencement. We will rehearse the processional and recessional and go over the entire program in detail. REHEARSAL FOR GRADUATION IS MANDATORY!! YOU MUST BE THERE…IF YOU ARE NOT AT REHEARSAL YOU WILL NOT BE PERMITTED TO ATTEND THE GRADUATION CEREMONY.
