BSD School Board Policy 343.7 Online Learning Activities & District Online Courses
Requests for online course enrollment and full-time online learning options will be processed on a first-come, first-served and priority basis. All placements are contingent upon space and finances being available to support online requests.

One or two online courses to supplement your in-person schedule
Which Supplemental model is right for you?
On-Site: Work on your online course during the school day in the Library Media Center at BHS
Enriched Virtual: Earn a release from a block/period at BHS to complete your online course from home
Off-Site: Take a full schedule at BHS with one online course completed at home on your own time (a total of 9 classes per semester)
Enroll in one or two online courses for new credit
(not for credit recovery)
Students in grades 9-11 can register for 1 or 2 online courses for new credit and can complete this course from home during our 8-week online summer term:
June 9 - August 1, 2025
Students in need of credit recovery for English or math should discuss on-site summer school options with a school counselor. Credit recovery is NOT available in the online option from home.

Starting with the 2025-2026 school year, a full-time virtual option will no longer be available at Baraboo High School. If you are in need of this option for your student, please visit the Wisconsin Department of Public Instruction's website on how to apply to a virtual charter school.
