Thesis

People trusted Tylenol and wouldn't fear the medication they were taking. This tragedy occurred in Chicago Illinois, September 1982. Our topic relates to the themes with reaction, because the people, press, and Johnson & Johnson reacted to the murders, and reform because Johnson & Johnson had to gain back the trust of the people, and change the way they distributed Tylenol. Something that happened shortly after the murders was that the police took all of the belongings of the suspected murderer that could be related to the murders, because of the murders, Johnson & Johnson changed how they packaged Tylenol bottles, which impacted the over the counter medicine industry forever.
