This is a great example of why FCS is very important in learning what a good relationship is and how to nurture that relationship so it continues to be great. Whereas if we didn’t have that we tend to think of relationships of how we see them at home or in public so if we see a unhealthy relationship in public or at home we think that is the way all relationships are and how they should be which is why some people get stuck in horrible toxic relationships and don’t know how to get out. This source is a secondary source because the person they are interviewing was not directly impacted nor has she experienced the event. This source was made for the community like parents, students, everyone because they want to spread awareness about how beneficial FCS is for our children and students.

This shows that FCS or anything in that category helps students in many ways. It gets them ready for life outside of school when they are on their own and if they don’t have that kind of support at home they have it there in that class.
This is important for our future generations because not everyone has people at home they can talk to and learn about this kind of subject and even for people that do have those people to talk to, not all adults know about this subject because it’s not offered in every school. So this being a subject allows students to learn about cooking, sewing, and budgeting which isn’t taught to everyone. This article helped us understand that FCS and everything in that category is a great tool for students to have when they need to learn about things that aren't always taught at home or in other classrooms. I used this article to answer the long term effect on how FCS is beneficial outside of a classroom.
