As a School Counselor, we assist ALL students in areas of academic achievement, personal/social development and career readiness. One of Ms. Schulz's goals is to promote healthy personal and educational growth for every student.
Gone are the days of school counselors sitting in their office simply handing out college applications, making schedule changes for students who want to drop a class or entering data for the school district. Today's school counselors are vital members of the education team. They help ALL students in the areas of academic achievement, personal/social development and career development, ensuring today's students become the productive, well-adjusted adults of tomorrow. (American School Counselors Association, 2013)
Ms. Schulz looks forward to working with students on a daily basis to ensure that they are reaching their potential, setting and achieving academic and career goals, and have less barriers to their education.
