Meet Mrs. Peyton

Hello! My name is Mrs. Peyton and I am DELIGHTED to spend a fun year learning with you and about you.

I was born and raised in Oshkosh, Wisconsin, which is a long(ish) car ride from Bangor to the other side of the state. If you are a Packers fan, it is close to where the Packers play at Lambeau Field. I have a younger brother who still lives in Oshkosh. I moved to La Crosse to go to college at UW-L, where I worked hard to make one of my hopes and dreams come true… becoming a teacher!

I began teaching at a preschool called Childfirst in Holmen, where I taught 4K for 2 years, and then began teaching Kindergarten at Bangor Elementary. After teaching Kindergarten, I was a First Grade teacher for 4 years, and am beginning my fourth year as a Second Grade teacher.

My husband and I live in La Crosse with our daughter, Mollie, who just turned 5 years old, and our cat, Lucy. My interests and hobbies include reading, running, cooking/baking, and learning. I also really love owls. I am so excited to think, learn, and grow together with you this year!
