Hello! My name is Mrs. Brittany Freymiller (formerly Roscovius). I teach English 9, English 11, AP English Literature and Composition, Creative Writing, and Argumentation and Debate. I started teaching in Bangor in the 2017-2018 school year. Previously, I taught in the Mineral Point and Adams-Friendship School Districts.
I graduated from UW-La Crosse in 2010 with a degree in Education - English and minors in History and Creative Writing. In 2015 I earned my Masters in Education - Professional Development. My philosophy about learning is that we are all learning all the time in various ways. I incorporate that philosophy into my teaching by incorporating various learning opportunities for students. I firmly believe that students need to be confident readers, writers, and communicators when they graduate high school to be successful in any endeavor, so we emphasize those skills in my ELA classes.
I utilize Google Classroom for all class content and assessments. Please encourage students to check there first for things that they may have missed in class. Please also see the "Commonly Used Apps" page for instructions/information about the other apps that your students will be using frequently in class.
If at any time you have a question or concern, please contact me directly. Thank you for your partnership in education!
