I currently teach MS Science at Bangor Middle School. I joined the Bangor School District as a Science teacher in August of 2017. I previously taught MS Science for 14 years in the Mauston School District. I grew up in Sheboygan, WI and graduated from Sheboygan North High School in 1995. I then went to the University of Wisconsin- LaCrosse where I received my Bachelor's Degree with a major in Biology and a minor in Chemistry. I loved school so much, I went right back and earned my Master of Education-Professional Development from the University of Wisconsin-LaCrosse.
I believe Science provides an opportunity for all students to learn about the world around them. The content of the class is driven by hands on experiments, in-depth discussions, and student projects. Through these lessons, students learn to develop their skills of curiosity, problem solving, organization, cooperation, and perseverance.
In my free time, I enjoy spending time with my family, traveling, and cooking.
