Friday 4/17:

Wednesday 4/15:

• Social Studies:
  • Project due Friday - Don't forget to click "turn in" when you are done in Google Classroom.
• Writing:
  • Continue working on Quill
• Math:
  • Finish Kahn Academy assignment from Monday.
  • Complete Xtramath
• Reading:
  • If you haven't yet, finish your Common Lit Assignment from Monday.

Monday 4/13:

• Social Studies:
  • Keep working on your career investigation project, I'll be giving you feedback on Classroom this week.
• Writing:
  • Work on your Quill assignments this week.
• Math:
  • Kahn Academy - I assigned an entire unit called "Multiply Fractions" which should be review for you. Try and watch 1-2 videos the practice problem sets that go with each video every day. This will be at your own pace.
• Reading:
  • Common Lit Passage: Olympic Ski Racers
    • Remember! when you answer the last question to use the RACE strategy. Restate the question, answer, cite evidence, & explain how the evidence fits your answer.
      • I will have your responses graded with feedback by Monday next week.

  • Complete the Career investigation project in Google Classroom Social Studies. This will be due next week on 4/17.

Wednesday 4/8:

• Math:
  • On Seesaw follow the audio instructions to try and solve the math puzzle. Create a recording and drawing to explain how you came up with the answer.
  • Kahn Academy - Watch 2 videos and complete the practice problems assignment (due Friday).
  • Complete your Xtramath
• Writing:
  • See instructions from Monday for mailing a letter to Mr. Griffin.
• Spelling/Vocabulary:
  • Complete Unit 29 Assignment by Friday.
  • I will post the unit 29 post test on Friday.
• Reading:
  • Finish Common Lit assignment from Monday.
  • I will post a new Common LIt assignment Friday and will grade and give you feedback on the story you read on Monday.

• Art:
  • Mrs. Luck just created a website with some project ideas and student work. Her website is linked HERE and you can watch a video and complete a project of your choice.

Wednesday 3/25/2020

• Writing: Finish your letter to the elderly from Monday's work and drop your letter in the mailbox. Email me if you have any questions on how to do that. This is "due" on Friday.
• Reading: Go to Common Lit and check out your scores for "From Slaves to Sharecroppers"
• On Common Lit, Read the passage "Reaching New Heights" HERE and answer the questions from the passage.
• Spelling/Vocabulary: Complete the Unit 28 assignment by Friday, we will take the Unit 28 post test on Friday.
• Math: Watch the 2 Kahn Academy Videos and complete the 7 practice problems. You will need a sheet of paper and pencil to complete these problems successfully. If you are struggling, let me know and I'll make you a video.

• Specials: Take a virtual field trip of our national parks. Visit one park using the link HERE and write a summary of your visit. In your summary include 3 things you enjoyed the most. You can visit more than one park, but just write your summary on only one park. There is an assignment in ELA Google Classroom for you to respond. You can also comment on your classmates trips too. HERE is the assignment on Classroom.
• Spelling: Complete your Unit 27 Post test
• Math: Complete your xtramath for the day
  • Spend 20 minutes practicing Moby Max. - Use Clever to sign in to Moby Max after you're signed in to the Chrome Browser.
    • If you are stuck on a question on Moby Max, you can create a screencastify video explaining what your problem is. Then email me the video and I'll respond.
