❓ What will I learn at tryouts?
Participants will learn a short pom routine and a kickline routine over the first two days.
🏠 How can I practice at home?
After Day 1, we will post the following to our team website:
Routine music
Instructional videos
Performance videos
To prepare at home:
Start by reviewing the videos and breaking down each move.
Practice with the music, without the video in front of you, to test memory.
Pro tip: Record yourself performing and watch it back to catch anything you can improve.
🩰 Do I need prior experience to try out?
Not at all! No dance or pom experience is required, just a positive attitude, strong effort, and willingness to learn.
👕 What should I wear to tryouts?
Day 1 & 2: Comfortable athletic clothing (T-shirt, shorts/leggings, tennis shoes) and a water bottle.
Final Tryout Day: Black bottoms (leggings or shorts) and a solid-colored top (white or black preferred).
