Choir
If your student wants to join choir, please feel free to print out and turn into Mr. Dunlap.
Form to join choir. Due by Friday, September 2.
To help the choir students practice at home some singing fundamentals, please use the following links with the following exercises. Please remember that when we sing higher, we should not feel tightening or a thinning/squeaking of our voice. If that happens, stop and wait for the exercises to come back down to a comfortable pitch. When our voice muscles get strong enough, we should feel our voice "release" into higher pitches.
Here are the links and the exercises that fit each link
Bubble Lips
Tongue exercise-sing patterns above but with your tongue sticking out
Humming
Say “Lah, ah, ah, ah” almost like at a doctor’s office
Sing Lah, slide up to ah, up to ah, then down to ah, then down to ah
Sing lah, but don’t slide up and down as you move through the patterns
