Greetings, earthlings! My name is Mrs. Anderson. I am infinitely excited to be teaching Geometry and Algebra 1 this year at Bandera High School. I received a Bachelor of Science degree in Mathematics from Sul Ross State University. I am currently enrolled in a Master's of Education program at Texas A&M. This is my third year teaching here at Bandera, and I am super happy to be here.
I have been married for 15 years to a native of Bandera, Daniel Anderson, and we have 3 kids. My daughter, Madison, 23, lives in Fort Worth, my son, Christian, 19 graduated from Bandera HS last May, and my youngest, Danny, 12 enjoys being at Bandera Middle School. I am a big nerd when it comes to math and 80s pop cultures like Star Wars, superheroes, and 8-bit video games.
I enjoy being an active volunteer in extra-curricular activities and programs, including Boy Scouts of America, Texas 4-H, FFA, athletic booster clubs, and PTA. This year I have accepted the role of Student Council Sponsor. Our club is doing so many fun and wonderful things. I believe the benefits of working with programs that promote positive success and good moral character to children and families is out of this world.
