Libraries in Bandera ISD are a large part of our school community when it comes to engaging students and collaborating with faculty and staff. Reading develops vocabulary and comprehension skills our students need when in school or in the real world. However, our biggest partnership is with you, the parents, because reading begins at home. We believe that every student should have the right of choice when it comes to picking out the books they like to read, but you as the parent can control what your child reads, just like you can monitor their social media and movie selections.
