Applied Music I-IV

Prerequisite - Concurrent registration in Band I-IV

Applied music is a band director guided and self-guided enrichment course for band members on their respective instruments. Involved are one-on-one lessons format with band directors, as well as larger ensemble activities. Band members that enroll in this course are expected to participate in All-Region band auditions, as well as utilize SmartMusic practice software. The introduction of, components of, and performance as a jazz band are included in this course, along with opportunities during the year to perform.
