The school districts of Phoenix are proud to announce COVID vaccination events in June and July, known as Spread Love, Not COVID: Student Edition. Also, more great news! Parents and family members will also have access to the Pfizer vaccine. The confirmed dates are as follows:

Friday & Saturday, 6/11 & 6/12/21 (1st Dose)

Friday & Saturday, 7/9 & 7/10/21 (2nd Dose and some 1st doses)

Friday & Saturday, 7/30 & 7/31/21 (Catch-Up date)

Additionally there is a statewide hotline that residents can call with questions related to COVID-19. It is available in both English and Spanish, and can be reached by dialing 2-1-1 from 8:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m.

The hotline will provide information on:

  • how to prepare for and prevent the spread of COVID-19;

  • testing for COVID-19 as it becomes available;

  • who is at a higher risk of contracting COVID-19;

  • what to do if you get sick; and

  • where to find the most up-to-date and accurate information (e.g., the CDC).

Raising Special Kids: Summer School for Parents

Join us for a day of learning from your computer/tablet/phone – wherever you’re most comfortable! We’ll be offering training on our most requested topics, hosting a “virtual lunchroom,” where parents and Raising Special Kids staff can chat, and we’ll be doing drawings for fun prizes.
