Tree of Dreams by Laura Resau is an adventure book about a girl named Coco. She and her mother own a chocolate shop that is about to be closed down because of financial issues. However, Coco starts to have dreams about a tree ‘calling’ for her, saying that it needs her help and that it has the treasure which is going to help her keep the shop open. This leads her to travel to the Amazon with her then-best friend to work together to overcome multiple obstacles. I enjoyed reading this book because it was heartwarming to read about how Coco and her friend, who used to be best friends, fix their relationship after overcoming struggles and challenges together. However, I wasn’t really satisfied with the ending. The vocabulary was quite challenging but very descriptive and detailed. Overall, I would recommend this book to people who like adventure books with a nice heartwarming story. (Seoyeon. Grade 8)

Coco and Leo get an opportunity to travel to the Amazon Forest with their wise friend, Gali. As they slowly become friends again, they see the destruction done to the forest. Will they be able to find a way to help the forest? This book has the genre of Adventure and the vocabulary is easy to understand.
