Outback2Basics will immerse Year 3 in the Stone Age, bringing their historical learning to life through hands-on activities like crafting tools and building shelters, allowing them to experience and understand the daily lives of early humans firsthand. This experience will allow pupils to further explore their historical work. 

Chester Zoo

A Year 3 visit to Chester Zoo will provide an immersive exploration of jungle rainforest ecosystems, utilising exhibits and a workshop to demonstrate habitats, animal adaptations, and the detrimental effects of palm oil, enriching their geographical and scientific understanding. This will further support the children in their geographical knowledge rainforest and their scientific knowledge of the creatures who live their. 

The Conway Centre Residential and Chester DEVA Roman Discovery Centre

Begin your journey by stepping back in time to Roman Chester, exploring DEVA and experiencing life as a true Roman, bringing your "Romans" topic vividly to life. Then, immerse yourselves in an all-day art workshop with a professional artist, honing your creative skills and expanding your artistic horizons. Finally, discover the beauty of Tattenhall's surroundings through exciting orienteering and village walks, fostering a love for nature and UK wildlife. This residential promises a blend of historical immersion, artistic exploration, and outdoor adventure, creating lasting memories and enriching learning experiences.
