iReady

How it works:

Students take a K-12 diagnostic online assessment 3 times per year (fall, winter & spring). This diagnostic assessment pinpoints student needs down to the sub-skill level, and ongoing progress monitoring shows whether students are on track to achieve end-of-year targets. Based on the results of the i-Ready® Diagnostic, students are automatically placed into student instruction customized to their placement levels. These online lessons provide a consistent best-practice lesson structure and build conceptual understanding, in addition to being engaging and fun for learners of all levels.

Baldwin High School students are encouraged to spend 45 min per week completing online lessons for Reading and Math. These highly engaging lessons provide a thoroughly immersive experience, giving students exposure to high-quality texts that guide them on their path to becoming thorough and analytical readers. These lessons can be found within the reading comprehension domain and are automatically assigned, tracked, and available through the online reports.

Our teachers may also use iReady to supplement our reading/math curriculum. i-Ready® provides rigorous, on-grade-level instruction and practice with i-Ready® and additional downloadable lessons to help meet individual student or small group needs.
